PRONG TYPE SNAP
This type of product is manufactured in 3 standards sizes of open prongs, LIGNE 14, LIGNE15 and LIGNE 16.
The 'snap' is produced on this product by the construction of a 'petal like' socket (female) which engages the stud (male)
This product is suitable for use on knitted fabrics due to the construction of the 'five pronged' ring which attaches with either
the socket or the stud.
A LIGNE is a measurement equivalent to 1/40th of an inch and the size of the product relates to the diameter of the open prong.

- OPEN PRONG

The coloured open prongs are enamel painted. The customer has a choice of either buying a colour from YKK's colour card or supplying YKK with a sample of coloured fabric
for a colour match to be done.
